The Legend: André Tchelistcheff at TMORA

Join us for the second of four series in our partnership with The Museum of Russian Art, as we celebrate their 20th anniversary!

We’re taking our classes into a whole new setting with this series of deep-dive classes at TMORA. The entirety of TMORA’s exhibits will be open for your after-hours viewing and enjoyment, capped with a Sommelier-led deep-dive class amongst the main collection.  

For our second class of the series, we’ll be focusing on André Tchelistcheff -- AKA “The Winemaker’s Winemaker.” Sitting amongst walls of art, you’ll taste wines from some of the country’s most respected wineries and learn about Tchelistcheff’s legacy within California, Washington, and beyond, through his mentorship, his development of some of the most widely used winemaking techniques today, and his role in the 1973 Judgement of Paris.  

Each ticket to the class will include:  

• Pre-class Happy Hour with full, after-hours access to TMORA’s art exhibits 
• Hour-long class on André Tchelistcheff, California, and Washington wines, with accompanying wine flight 
• Individual Cheese Plate ala France 44 Cheese Shop 

Other need to know details:

• Participants must be 21 years old.
• The Museum of Russian Art has ample parking across the street (in the Mayflower Church parking lot) and is wheelchair accessible
• Tickets are non-refundable. If you cannot attend a class you have registered for, registration is transferable to another France 44 class through Dojour.
• All classes are subject to minimum enrollment. If a class is cancelled, we'll notify you 48 hours in advance.
• Please notify France 44 with any dietary restrictions or preferences.
• For the safety of our staff and guests, we strongly recommend that all attendees be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
