Dog Training with North Paws Canine Services at Bauhaus! 🐶WHAT: Two different comprehensive 4 week courses: Sampler Course (brewery manners, reliable recall, massage, tricks) and Impulse Control 🐶WHEN: Saturday mornings (9-10am, 10:15-11:15am) on 10/8, 10/15, 10/29, and 11/5. Classes take place prior to public hours. 🐶WHERE: Bauhaus Brew Labs taproom, 1315 Tyler Street NE, Mpls MN 55413 🐶HOW MUCH: $160 for either the Sampler course or for the Impulse Control course includes all 4 weeks + one pint of Bauhaus beer, seltzer, or non-alcoholic offering per class 🐶MORE INFO: Classes offered by North Paws Canine Services use a balanced training approach of teaching dogs what's right from wrong in a human world by utilizing a reward and correction based system. CLASS DESCRIPTION: IMPULSE CONTROL CLASS Impulse control exercises are ways to help your dog learn manners and self control. Impulse control for our dogs is used in everyday life so why not help them learn?! Some exercises include waiting, threshold manners, how to stifle arousal, how to be calm around distractions, how to exist around other people/dogs, food manners, and more. This class will prepare you and your dog for visiting a brewery or other public places with a peace of mind. **Please note that if your dog hasn't had any formal training/obedience these classes likely will not be helpful and quite challenging. If this is you please reach out so we can discuss other training options. ***Classes are limited to 10 dogs WHAT TO BRING -Hungry dog! Do not feed your dog before class -Treats, LOTS OF THEM!! Or their daily kibble -6 foot leash (flexi/retractable leashes not allowed)
