Woodblock Carving + Printing

Learn how to create beautiful, hand-carved, block prints from wood. We will start by practicing woodcut techniques, and then everyone will create their own design on a block which can be used again and again.

Finally we'll apply ink to print on art paper and afterwards we will print on fabric. These prints are good for framing and cards. No experience required!

This workshop includes:

- Wood for practicing and then creating your block

- Practice using a variety of carving tools

- Guidance on developing and carving your design, and how to ink and print with you block

- 2 linen items to print on
